MPRN About Us |
The Middle Peninsula Referral Network (MPRN) is a group of business people who meet weekly to discuss their business and to refer business to each other. The goal of this group is to create a dynamic network of professionals that work together to achieve mutual business for the members of the group. The group was founded in December of 2000. Since that time the group has grown to 25 members.
In a typical meeting each member has an opportunity to teach the group what kind of clients they are looking for. We call this process Sales Pitching. Every week we have one of our members give a Business Overview, which is a detailed look at that company. We also have a short training session on sales, marketing, motivation, or organization. At the end of every meeting we take the opportunity to pass referrals to each other.
To become a member, a business must submit an application to the group. This application is addressed by the membership to ensure that these are well-respected businesses and that their industry is not already represented in our membership. Upon acceptance of an application the business is invited to join our group.
